According to the Bahai News, Mr. Faniyan was mysteriously killed two nights ago and his dead body was set on fire. He was over 70 years old. The motivation and identity of his murderer(s) remains unknown.

According to the eye witness news, his work place neighbors noticed that his sheep were grazing out side by themselves; his car door was left open and the car key was left on his car. Since they could not find him, they contacted his brother.

Unable to find him, Mr. Faniyan's brother and his son went to the place he would keep his livestock, and they found a burned body.

According to the sources, the severe burns made the body hard to recognize, but DNA testing proved it was Mr. Faniyan's body.

The investigation still continues, and Mr. Faniyan's four workers are still missing. It is unclear if his murder had a religious motivation."
